Jim Morrison took up residence in the famed Sunset Strip hotel in 1970. The hotel was built during the Great Depression as apartments, survived 5 major earthquakes, operated as an air raid shelter in the 40s, was managed by silent film stars, and continues to absorb cultural history into its Spanish tiles and leather couches to this day. Romantic, debaucherous, vintage, and luxurious.
